About ASEAN VACCINE DASHBOARD

The ASEAN Leaders' Declaration on ASEAN Vaccine Security and Self-Reliance (AVSSR), which was officially adopted by ten leaders from member countries during the 35th ASEAN Summit in 2019, along with its Strategic and Action Plan, which was subsequently endorsed by ASEAN Health Ministers in 2021.
The 15th Senior Official Meeting on Health Development (SOMHD) approved the AVSSR Strategic and Action Plan 2021-2025, the first five-year regional plan developed well after ASEAN leaders' declaration, through ad-referendum on October 20, 2020. Following that, on 14 May 2021, ASEAN Health Minister Meeting (AHMM) officially adopted the Plan, making this the Regional Plan for Vaccine among ASEAN Member States (AMSs).
The ultimate goal of AVSSR strategy is Towards Realizing Vaccine Security and Self Reliance for All: Ensure healthy ASEAN through timely, equitable access to affordable and quality-assured vaccines. The following are the five crucial strategies that ASEAN must promote until 2025:
